MORNING TEA WITH AUSSIE ANZAC BISCUITS
KINGS TABLELAND, A ROCKY CLIFF LOOKOUT Gaze in wonder down into the Jamison Valley, home to the dinosaurs some 110 million years ago. This amazing outcrop gives an eagle eye view of this vast canyon. A great photo stop!
ABORIGINALS and their history, culture and habitat is explained by your professional tour guide. We visit an area where there are rock markings and spear sharpening.
WENTWORTH FALLS AND KATOOMBA FALLS The waterfalls in the Blue Mountains are at their best after rain. Wentworth Falls in particular can be a cascading current of water soon after heavy rain. Australia has been in a severe drought for the past 4 years and this has adversely affected the flow over the waterfalls.
BOOMERANGS Learn to throw a returning Boomerang as used for thousands of years by aboriginals in hunting and ceremonial gatherings.
THE THREE SISTERS One of the highlights of our tour! View The Three Sisters from Echo Point. Hear the old aboriginal folk story of their creation and the legend of The Three Sisters from the dream time.
SPECIAL PRE-LUNCH WINE TASTING Why not try some some local wines from the Blue Mountains and Mudgee wine growing areas? There is also the opportunity to try some fudge and chocolates as well.
LUNCH is in a modern restaurant situated on the cliff top at Echo Point. Vegetarian meals are available.
SCENIC RAILWAY After lunch, we travel to Scenic World which is the home of the cable car rides, together with the scenic railway. This is the steepest railway in the world. There are 3 rides to choose from. There is the Skyway which crosses the Katoomba Falls, and the Flyway which goes from the top of the cliff down to the Jamieson Valley near the old coal mine. Each ride costs $8 per person one way. Family tickets available. All rides are at your own expense.
BUSHFIRE DAMAGE AT GOVETTS LEAP This spectacular clifftop lookout at Blackheath was ravaged by bushfires in December 2006. You will see firsthand the damage and the amazing regrowth of the eucalyptus forest.
OLYMPIC PARK, HOME TO THE 2000 OLYMPICS On our return from the Blue Mountains we stop at the Olympic Village to see how this unique sporting venue is still very much alive.
RIVER FERRY A highlight to the end of your day tour is this Sunset River Cruise on the River Ferry back to the city. This sleek river ferry takes 35 minutes. You cruise under the Harbour Bridge past the Sydney Opera House to Circular Quay. Tour finishes at 6.00pm at Circular Quay.

SCENIC WORLD:
Your tour driver will discuss with you the various ride options available at Scenic World including the SCENIC RAILWAY, the SKYWAY and the CABLEWAY. These 3 rides cost $8 one way per ride for an adult or $16 return. A favourite is to include all 3 rides, (one way), crossing over the Katoomba Falls on the Skyway (cost $8), down into the Valley on the Scenic Railway $8 and a return by the Flyway Cable Car at $8, a total cost of $24. Your tour guide will arrange your choice of rides for you. There is ample time for all 3 rides and to take a leisurely walk on the Scenic walkway. For more info seewww.scenicworld.com.au

Wet Weather.
On occasions the weather can be overcast and cloudy on the mountains. This restricts the viewing considerably and can sometimes mean that the main attractions are covered in cloud. On those days we do have a wet weather plan and we have private access to one of the oldest hotels on the mountains and some other interesting old buildings. We will take you on an exclusive private tour of the historic locations. We can even take you to a short film on the Blue Mountains, at no expense to you. More often than not a trip down on the scenic railway will still produce some views of the Three Sisters and the walk through the rainforest is excellent. Some of our best days have been when the weather is disappointing. Read the Oliver Testimonial on our Web site.
