The Southern Highlands – so close to Sydney yet worlds away!
Located midway between Sydney and Canberra and just over 90 minutes from Sydney, the Southern Highlands is known for its cool temperate climate and low humidity levels, making it a the place for your next day away.

From stunning national parks and waterfalls, through rural landscapes to historic country villages and towns, the Southern Highlands offers a diverse array of activities and attractions and is recognised as a cool climate wine region and is of course, home to the Bradman Museum, Tulip Time and the Bundanoon Highland Gathering – Brigadoon.

Southern Highlands Wine Tasting Tours can offer a relaxing day from Sydney, travelling in Luxury 14 seat Mercedes Benz coaches, visiting the historical township of Berrima and experiencing two and possibly three of the best Cellar door experiences available – Centennial Estate, and Bendooley Estate. The third winery will be time permitting and a pick on the day from other delightful venues available in the Southern Highlands.

Centennial Estate offers delightful surroundings for the ultimate Cellar Door experience in the Highlands. An experienced Cellar Door team ensure you have the best available to showcase their wines.

We offer an extended stay at Bendooley Estate, the brand new Cellar Door is a destination in itself. Built from locally sourced stone with pitched timber ceilings, steel beams and extensive use of glass, the structure has been architecturally engineered to become an extension of the vineyard. Bendooley is also the home of Berkelouw’s Book Barn.A fabulous building, the Barn still houses 1000’s of books old and new, and is home to the Estate Restaurant, producing beautiful seasonal food with local produce served both inside and out on the patio, to suit the day, all complemented by wines from their vineyard and beyond.
