Small group personal wine tour

Enjoy a small group personal wine tour experience from Sydney to the Hunter Valley, just over 2 hours drive from Sydney, with one of our friendly and knowledgable driver/guides. Maximum 14 or 17 per tour.

Courtesy pick up & return to Sydney hotels and convenient locations

Complimentary pick ups are available from several hotels and convenient city meeting points in Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs such as Bondi Junction, Kings Cross/Potts Point, Darling Harbour, North Sydney etc. Pick ups commence from 6:45am to 7:30am. Wine tastings at leading Hunter wineries

On our flexible tour itinerary from Sydney you will visit a mixed selection of 4 different wineries/cellar doors ranging from smaller boutique style and family owned vineyards and cellar doors to the larger commercial wine producers, including a visit to either a liqueur tasting at the Kiss of Fires outlet or a tasting at a fouth winery.  You will sample approximately 5-8 wines at each winery/cellar door.

You will enjoy a wine and cheese pairing at one of the cellar doors visited, the Hermitage Road Cellars at the Hunter Resort. We have an on-board fridge to keep any cheese purchases cool.

8:45am – Stop at Oliver’s Café en route to the Hunter for a comfort stop, stretch of the legs and time to purchase your morning wake-up coffee before you start your days wine tasting!

10:15am – 3:30pm

    • And a final temptation – a visit to one of the local chocolate shop outlets

The tour from Sydney is a full day tour departing the CBD around 7:20-7:30am and returning in the evening around 6:00-6:30pm.  Note: Pick ups for the tour commence at 6:45am from Bondi Junction, Kings Cross/Potts Point, the Central Station area, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, North Sydney, Chatswood, Gordon and Wahroonga. Check your booking confirmation for your pick pu time time and arrangements.

How many people can book?

You can book for just one person, or any number of people.  For larger groups  we can provide you with a quote for your private Hunter Valley wine tour. based on the number of people in your group. Our maximum size of group is 20 people.

How often does this tour depart?

Every day of the year, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Note – availability from November 2021 onwards will be based on demand as NSW opens up after lockdown. The tour will not be available 7 days per week.  We’ll run on Saturdays and other days based demand.  Contact us for more details of any enquiry you have.

Terms & Conditions Cancellation Policy:

1. Within 24 hours of tour date – 100% cancellation fee.
2. Within 48 hours of tour date – 50% cancellation fee.
3. Cancellations or changes to numbers must be received in writing / email as early as possible and no later than 48 hours before the tour date.

Small Groups (5 or more people):

For a person booking a group of people on a wine tour, you must advise us in advance us of any changes to your numbers going on the tour as the above cancellation policy conditions will apply. e.g. If you book for 5 people, you pay for 5 people, if you booking for 7 people, you pay for 7 people etc. unless you advise us of a change to your numbers in advance. We want to give you maximum flexibility for possible changes to your numbers but retain the right to sell any unwanted seats at least 7 days prior to the tour.

Payment is collected on the tour date by the driver / guide. You can choose to pay by cash, eftpos or credit card (Visa, MasterCard. No AMEX).
